Opened by the Queen on 199, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park has then assumed the title of the World’s Largest Covered Bird Park. Housing 3000 birds of 200 species, this attraction definitely is one of the must-sees while in the city.

When walking around the park, visitors are up for some majestic experience of seeing flamingos, pelicans, hornbills, parrots, storks and surgeons. It is not a common sight in Malaysia so a trip to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park should surely be treasured. After all, it feels great to encounter these colorful sights fluttering overhead. Bird-feeding stations are also set up to bring the people closer to the birds. However, the food should be bought from the park administration since these lovely creatures are quite sensitive with food.

To match the exoticness of the main attractions (which are the birds), the park was designed with miniature gardens, cascading pools, bridges, and flowering plants. This way, a true appeal of flora and fauna will be exuded.
